I booked a flight ticket from Cleartrip on March 5, due to an emergency — from Dubai to Islamabad, Pakistan (round trip) — and later cancelled it on the same day, after two hours.

From March 5 till date, Cleartrip has failed to refund me, and every time I call them, they give me different information.

Can Gulf News please help me?

The management of Cleartrip responds:

Please be informed that we have processed the refund for this customer on April 16. We did face a delay in processing this refund, compared to our standard time frame, due to a delay in response from the airlines. However, after the escalation was raised, a refund amount of Dh1,262 was processed on April 16.

Also, we have called and reconfirmed with Mr Hussain today and he has well received the refund amount and appreciates the follow-up call.

Mr Hussain responds:

Thank you so much for the help and support. I have received the amount.
