Can you tell us in detail about the programme?

The UK-based institute, which opened its regional office in Dubai last year, offers a variety of courses for those aspiring to be wedding planners, while providing experienced professionals an opportunity to gain a certification. All courses are provided online and can be completed as per convenience, with flexible payment plans.

Can students apply to this course right after high school?

Yes, they can pursue these courses right after school.

What do you have to say about the course that hasn’t been taught structurally as yet?

There is definitely a demand for courses of this nature. The UAE’s wedding industry is a robust one, valued at about $1.2 billion per year, with approximately 15,000 ceremonies taking place here every year. We are giving people the opportunity of choosing wedding planning as a full-fledged course.

Do you provide internships/placements?

Yes, we assist with internships and placements.

Since the nature of the industry requires a more practical approach, do you provide a practical training as well?

The primary focus of our courses is to teach you how to plan a wedding and manage it on the day. We teach the fundamentals of planning, like putting proposals together, client consultations and budgeting. Finally, we go inside the event day ‘virtually’ and manage all of the admin and logistics involved, through an online set-up.
