Dubai: It’s Just Football have linked up with Celtic Football Club and Global Sports Recruitment to stage Dubai’s first high-performance US College training camp at Nad Al Sheba Sports Complex from March 25-29.
Entrance for players aged between 16-18-years-old costs Dh1,200 each and sessions run from 9am to 3pm each day.
This is the first time locally that a professional club has tied in with scholarship providers to give local players the chance to earn a scholarship in the US.
Two places will also be provided for players to train at Celtic if the Scottish champions believe the standard is good enough and organisers hope to stage a game against a local professional side at the end of the week.
Coaches from It’s Just Football, Celtic and Global Sports Recruitment, will deliver sessions on technique, tactics, strength and mental toughness.
