Abu Dhabi: UAE coach Alberto Zaccheroni says he knows nothing of plans to naturalise Al Wahda’s Argentine striker Sebastian Tagliabue ahead of January’s Asian Cup hosting.
Al Wahda chairman Ahmad Al Rumaithi said of the rumoured plans: “He is not the first player and he is not the last. More will come. We have kept the player for more than five years and that makes it easy.”
But Zaccheroni said: “I do not know anything about this and this is news to me.”
