Dubai: Al Arabi Kuwait will take on Dubai Club, while Arab Contractors Egypt will face Sharjah Stars in the semi-finals of the Second Reach Target U14 Football Tournament being played in Sharjah.
In final round of action held late on Sunday, Dubai Club squeezed past MBZ 1-0 to book their spot from Group B behind the unbeaten Arab Contractors from Cairo. In Group A, Sharjah Stars racked up two wins in as many matches — a 3-2 win against Al Dhaid followed by an 8-0 thrashing of Etihad Sports Academy — to finish in second spot behind unbeaten Al Arabi of Kuwait.
Al Arabi also rounded off their league outings with an emphatic 5-0 thrashing of Al Jokar to become the only team so far not to concede a single goal in the competition.
The semi-finals were scheduled for Monday followed by the third place play-off and final on May 22.
