Abu Dhabi: Shaikh Nahyan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of Abu Dhabi Sports Council, on Thursday issued four resolutions reshuffling the boards of directors of the Al Dhafra Sports & Cultural Club, and its three subsidiary companies: Al Dhafra Football Company and the Al Dhafra Sports Games Company and the Al Dhafra Club Investment Company.

The said resolutions were issued under the aegis of Shaikh Hamdan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in the Western Region, and are in line with plans by Abu Dhabi Sports Council to implement the new organisational structures of clubs in order to match advanced experiences in professional sports and to fulfil the aspirations of the sports sector of the emirate of Abu Dhabi.

Shaikh Nahyan’s Resolution No 11 for 2013 appointed Musallam Mohammad Al Ameri as chairman of the board of directors of the Al Dhafra Sports & Cultural Club, and Hamoud Humaid Al Mansouri as deputy chairman.

Khalifa Mattar Al Tunaiji, the representative of the club’s football company, Rashid Suwaid Al Mansouri, the representative of the club’s sports company, and Obaid Khalifa Al Mazroui, were appointed by the same resolution as board members for a term of two years, renewable.

Shaikh Nahyan’s Resolution No. 12 for 2013, appointed Khalifa Mattar Al Tunaiji as chairman of the board of the Al Dhafra Football Company, and Khamis Mohammad Al Mansouri, Salim Ahmad Al Mazroui and Hassan Abbas Al Hammadi as board members for a term of two years, renewable.

Shaikh Nahyan’s Resolution No. 13 for 2013 reshuffled the board of directors of Al Dhafra Sports Games Company appointing Rashid Suwaid Al Mansouri as board chairman, with Abdullah Khamis Al Hammadi, Abdullah Hassan Al Hosani, Saeed Hazza Al Ameri and Othman Abdul Rahman Al Hammadi as members for a term of two years, renewable.

Shaikh Nahyan’s Resolution No. 14 for 2013 reshuffled the board of directors of the Al Dhafra Club Investment Company appointing Obaid Khalfan Al Mazroui as chairman, with Hamad Abdullah Brak Al Mazroui, Mohammad Ebrahim Al Hosani, Ahmad Mohammad Al Mazroui and Hamdan Saeed Ali Al Mazroui as members for a term of two years, renewable.
