Dubai: Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Sports Council and Chairman of Shabab Al Ahli Club, has issued a decision forming the board of directors of the football club of Shabab Al Ahli Club chaired by Mansour Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
The decision has been taken based on the recommendation of the chairman of the Board of Directors of the club Shaikh Ahmad Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, during the board meeting held on Thursday at Emirates Towers.
The board members of the football club include Sami Bin Dhaain Al Qamzi, Ebrahim Abdul Malik Mohammad, Khalid Bouhmaid, Yaqoob Bin Eisa Bin Nasser Al Sarkal, Ali Al Habawi, Abdul Majid Hussain, Saeed Rashid Al Hali and Jamal Zaal Al Muhairi.
Shaikh Hamdan also issued a decision naming Essam Al Humaidan as a board member of Shabab Al Ahli Club.
Also, Shaikh Hamdan issued a decision forming a new section in charge of collective and individual sports at the club, under the name of “Sports Section” which will be managed by a board of directors and which will enjoy an independent financial and organisational structure. The sports section’s board is to be chaired by Mohammad Ahmad Al Merri.
In addition, Shaikh Hamdan named Hesham Al Qasim as the chairman of the Dubai Assets Management Establishment which is in charge of managing and investing in all assets of the club.
These decisions are effective from the date of issuance.
Shaikh Hamdan expressed his best wishes for the various entities of the club, and praised the efforts of the board of directors.
During the meeting, chaired by Ahmad Bin Mohammad, the board of directors of Shabab Al Ahli Club reviewed a report about the merger of the sports club in Dubai, along with the financial report of the club since its establishment.
The board also reviewed the report by the Dubai Assets Management Establishment on various assets of the club, and its future plans.
