Dubai The Al Habtoor Riding School hosted another successful show jumping competition, with riders from several clubs sending spectators in cheers with their dazzling performances.

With more than 100 entries, contestants were spilt into 5 different classes which consisted of junior and senior riders.

In what was a very fun and exciting evening, family and friends gathered to cheer their superstars on.

One of the rising stars, Hani Majed, riding Codex, said: “I am so happy to have won first place in Class 5. Codex and I have trained extremely hard over the past few weeks and nothing feels better than seeing it pay off.

“I am also proud to have competed against other strong riders, they all did really well.”

The riders and their horses showed great expertise throughout the competition, all maneuvering with ease. Mark Barsby, Al Habtoor Riding School Manager said: “It’s great to see the number of new riders joining the sport every month and watch the equestrian world within the UAE be lifted to the next level and now, with so many exceptional top international riders, it puts the UAE on the map with the rest of the world.”

Commentator Annie Haresign added: “I love coming and seeing the progression of these rider’s month by month. Its heartwarming to see their dedication and skills develop and I am so honored to be a part of these growing competitions.”
