Sponsored by Fairmont Hotels, Jumeirah Golf Estates, Aquafina, Kings College Hospital and Cerner Middle East, this annual tournament, more than 150 top business executives took part in the Ceo Masters. “We are really delighted to see this encouraging turnout for the first-ever Ceo Masters Golf Day,” said Ahmad Ebrahim, Acting Director of Dubai Sports Council’s Communication and Marketing Department.

“It is a pleasure for us to host a valuable group of business leaders. The purpose of organising the Ceo Masters was to create a memorable golf and networking experience for key business leaders of the UAE, and I believe we have been successful.

“Moving forward, this turnout will certainly provide us with a lot of encouragement. We want to embrace the sporting and business relationships that are created and nurtured around this very unique sport. We have committed to run the Ceo Masters for three years, and we see this as a catalyst to organise more events to increase participation and utilisation of the magnificent golfing facilities in the UAE,” he added.

“Golf is a critical sport for tourism, business networking and lifestyle, and we in Dubai understand that perfectly. We now host three professional tournaments in Dubai, and we are home to eleven of the finest courses on the planet. Thanks to these stunning golf courses, Dubai ranks as one of the top golf destination in the world, offering extraordinary experiences in perfect playing conditions,” he observed.

“For us at Dubai Sports Council, the focus now is on maximising the benefits from these world-class sports facilities that we have here, especially in golf. So in the coming days and months, we will be exerting even greater effort to increase the numbers when it comes to golf tourism,” Ebrahim added.
