Commemoration Day is one of our most prominent national occasions. It is an occasion that we are very proud of, and we mark it for its sincere values of heroism, loyalty, patriotism, unlimited contribution and strong resolve.
On Commemoration Day, we remember the valiant deeds of our martyrs and their sacrifices. We remember the values of loyalty and belonging that they have exemplified. We remember their names, who they were, their families, mothers and fathers, and we also remember the sublime meaning of martyrdom, and their great rewards in Paradise.
On Commemoration Day, we pay rich tribute to those who sacrificed their lives for defending the UAE’s security, people, achievements and future of its generations.
We immortalise their sacrifices, celebrate their determination and bravery and their stand in the line of defence. We also celebrate all the meanings of benevolence and justice, the uprooting of injustice and oppressors, establishing peace and harmony, and extending a helping hand to the oppressed and needy.
On Commemoration Day, we continue to stand by and support the martyrs’ families, reaffirming our loyalty for our leadership and nation, as well as emphasising our unity and keenness to maintain our unified house and the cohesion of our people. It is a day in which we show our readiness to sacrifice everything to protect our nation.
On Commemoration Day, we recall the definition of martyrdom and its religious, humanitarian and national dimensions. We also evoke the meaning of faithfulness, allegiance and sacrifice for the love and pride that we hold for our nation. For our nation, we are ready to sacrifice our own lives and money to defend it from any transgressors or threat to its security and stability.
We are ready to sacrifice everything for building our nation and maintaining its glory. We will not let our country down and will never forget its generosity.
On Commemoration Day, we renew our vow not to forget the martyrs and not deviate from the path of allegiance to our country and wise leadership. Long live the UAE, and may its flag continue to fly high.
