In an Instagram video, Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Crown Prince and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council, introduced his followers to Hind, a young girl.
The live video on his official Instagram account, @faz3, shows a conversation between the Crown Prince and this young girl about the history of the UAE. The video starts off with a focus on Hind, wearing a pink floral dress, talking about the Union House.
She says: “Today, there’s a beautiful story. It’s the story about the UAE.”
As the video goes on, Shaikh Hamdan starts asking her questions. He first points at a drawing of a police officer and asks her who that is. “A policeman,” she quickly replies.
She then turns the page to a portrait of Shaikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the UAE's founding founder, and Shaikh Rashid Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, the father of the modern Dubai.
When Shaikh Hamdan asks her what they are doing, she says: “They are drinking coffee and eating dates.”
And when asked about their conversation, she says: “They are talking about wanting to achieve their dream of unity. In unity there is strength.”
