Abu Dhabi: The Abu Dhabi Department of Transport (DoT) has launched a fund-raising campaign, to be conducted in cooperation with a number of other Abu Dhabi-based authorities, to mark the Year of Zayed.
The ‘Zayed and Giving’ campaigns will encourage employees at the DoT, as well as at the Department of Urban Planning and Municipalities, Abu Dhabi Police, Abu Dhabi Ports, Abu Dhabi International Airport, Abu Dhabi General Services Company, Statistics Centre — Abu Dhabi and the Emirates Red Crescent to donate funds to help the needy. The funds will also be used to implement various charitable and development projects, the DoT said in a statement issued on Monday.
