Dubai: Residents can start looking forward to pleasant days ahead, as weather forecasters expects the weather across the UAE to slightly drop by Friday.
The National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) said that over the weekend, the country will be affected by strong northwesterly winds that can kick up waves up to nine feet offshore at 60km/h.

Dust is also expected to blow across exposed areas by the afternoon.
Over the next two days, fog and mist will continue at night and into the early morning, affecting areas along the coastal and inland.
The weather for Thursday, according to the NCMS, will be generally calm and partly cloudy over eastern parts of the country, with mild westerly-northwesterly winds 25-35km/h, although the windspeed along the coast is expected to reach up to 45km/h.
Some clouds may become convective and might be associated with rainfall.

Thursday morning’s fog reduced road visibility to less than 1,000 metres, especially affecting the areas of Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Al Maktoum International Airport, Zayed City and Sweihan.
In its daily weather forecast, the NCMS said that the minimum temperature will be 21-30 degrees Celsius in coastal and internal areas, and a low of 20-25 degrees Celsius in the mountain area.
