Dubai: Forecasters are expecting rain clouds to form over some parts of the country on Tuesday and Wednesday with a gradual rise in temperature over the next days.

The UAE will have partly cloudy weather on Tuesday, with a probability of some convective cloud formation with rainfall over the eastern areas, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).

Exposed areas in the country might have hazy conditions as the Southeast wind, becoming Northwest by afternoon could will kick up dust or sand.

The winds will blow at speeds of 20km/h to 35km/h, with gusts of 45km/h at times.

Rainfall is also probable on Wednesday over the eastern areas due to chances of local convective cloud formation.

On Wednesday, the south-easterly to northwesterly wind will slightly weaken by around 10km/h compared to Tuesday.

The mercury will hover on the 40° C to 43° C range on Wednesday afternoon.

Thursday and Friday’s weather will be hot in general and fair and partly cloudy over scattered areas.

The Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea will be light to moderate from Tuesday until Friday.
