Dubai: Another foggy day greeted UAE residents on Wednesday, with weathermen reporting of Abu Dhabi airport being affected by the pre-dawn mist.


Thick fog caused 12 delayed inbound flight delays in Abu Dhabi during the 3am to 6am period and another 12 inbound flight delays in the capital during the 6am to 9am period on Wednesday, according to Flight Tracker.

The National Centre for Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) said there is a chance of another foggy day on Thursday due to the rise in relative humidity.

Milder weather, however, is expected in the days to come.

Overall, the weather today will be fair in general, and partly cloudy at times, forecasters said. Over the mountains in the country's east, the afternoon will be cloudly but refreshing light to moderate winds are expected in exposed areas.

Relatively humidity is likely to increase the UAE's coastal areas as well as internal areas during the night as well as on Thursdy morning, said NCMS
