Dubai: Motorists can now choose to pay through their Nol cards for refuelling and purchases at all ENOC outlets including Zoom, Pronto and Paav’s Pizza, the Enoc Group announced on Monday.

Nol, Dubai’s automated transport fare payment system, has been spreading its reach with its availability across several major stores.

Taking the move a step further the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) of Dubai in partnership with ENOC has now made NoL payment available for all products and services across ENOC’s entire retail network.

Customers at ENOC can now complete their transactions with a simple tap-and-pay for fuel, automotive services and pay for purchases at ZOOM, Pronto and Paavo’s Pizza.

Saif Humaid Al Falasi, Group CEO of ENOC, said: “The growing use of smart devices is driving the adoption of cashless payments. Enabling payments through NoL cards demonstrates our commitment to the Smart City initiative; to enable and drive innovation across all our businesses, and to enhance customer experience.”

Abdulla Al Madani, CEO, RTA’s Corporate Technology Support Services Sector, expressed his delight over the new initiative that will offer additional convenience to NoL card holders to pay for groceries and purchases at more than 1,000 retail outlets all over the emirate of Dubai.

“Enabling the public from different social segments to use NoL cards to meet the needs of their retail payments is part of RTA’s strategic goals. RTA has always sought the best methods to make people in the UAE happy by providing them with safer, sophisticated, secure and faster solutions that make their lives easier and more comfortable.”

ENOC has 118 service stations across the UAE with 221 ZOOM outlets that operate across metro stations, ENOC service stations as well as high-end stand-alone destinations.
