Abu Dhabi: Swiss community in Abu Dhabi will celebrate the 14th edition of the annual Swiss Spring Festival on Friday evening.
The event will begin with a vivid reception to mingle and welcome each other to the evening when excitement, entertainment, lifestyle and traditions fuse and complement each other, said the Swiss Business Council (SBC), the organiser of the festival.
Swiss singer-songwriter and “DSDS — Deutschland sucht den Superstar” winner Luca Hanni will be performing live and for the first time in the UAE for one night only at the festival, said a press release issued by the SBC.
The festival gathers friends of Switzerland, members of the Swiss community, Swiss Business Council and other business groups in the open-air setting. The event is hallmarked by exquisite Swiss food specialities chosen especially for the evening, complemented by original Swiss delights flown in from St. Gallen in Switzerland on the festive occasion.
One of the highlights will be the raffle draw consisting of 15-20 exclusive prizes for the guests to win. The first prize will allow the lucky winner to get two flight tickets in Etihad Airways’ Business Class from Abu Dhabi to Zurich plus two nights stay at the prestigious Dolder Grand Hotel, Zurich in an elegant Junior Suite for two persons inclusive of breakfast and another two-night stay for two persons at the luxurious Kulm Hotel St. Moritz.
