Dubai: A photography exhibition showcasing magical moments of wildlife from Masai Mara National Reserve in Kenya will open to the public on Thursday.
Called ‘The Wild Trails’, the exhibition comprises 21 photographs by Hermis Haridas, member of the PT (Paws Trails) Explorers, a global platform for photographers and wildlife enthusiasts.
Hermis, Sony’s Alpha Ambassador for the Middle East and Africa on Wildlife, has been living in Dubai for 10 years and pursuing wildlife photography for nine years. He conducts photography workshops in different exotic locations around the globe. His work has gathered international recognition and he has been published in various international publications.
Besides exhibiting his photos, Haridas will also give a talk on wildlife photography on Saturday. He believes in the adage that “practice makes perfect” and there isn’t a day in his life without peeping at the world through his third eye. He has travelled to exotic wildlife locations, including Russia, Arabian deserts, Sri Lanka, India and African continent.
Nisha Purushothaman, co-founder of Paws Trails Explorers, said the group is a global platform for sharing, caring, and getting closer to nature that is a collective dream of a group of dedicated nature lovers.
