Dubai: The UAE’s shopping, entertainment and dining scene is bursting with activity these days that most people make it a point to step outside the home on weekends.
What’s even better is that when you hit the mall or restaurant, there’s always a chance you might just run into a celebrity or VIP.
And last weekend didn’t disappoint for a lot of mallgoers, especially those who were at City Walk.
His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, was spotted taking a stroll down the shopping venue.
Photos of Shaikh Mohammad, all smiles and waving to the crowd, have been shared on social media, and fans of the Dubai ruler couldn’t help but express their amazement.
“It’s cool to see the Shaikh is into shopping,” said one Instagram user.
It’s not the first time Shaikh Mohammad was spotted in the same mall.
Late last year, a photo of the Dubai ruler dining at one of the restaurants in the area went viral.
