Jingle bells are ringing and the aroma of baking is in the air. Do you want to have your cake, eat it too, and do good at the same time?
Then, head over to the 12th Annual Stollen Charity Cake Sale at Mall of the Emirates. The bake sale is being held to raise funds for Emirates Red Crescent and is hosted by the mall in partnership with Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates.
Stollen is a bread-like cake filled with dried fruit and nuts — a German Christmas classic.
This year, with 750 metres of stollen on sale - that’s around 1,300 pieces of baked goodness - the South Galleria at Mall of the Emirates is presenting stollen that’s ready to be purchased.
The sale started at 10am today. Loaves can be bought for Dh100 or just Dh5 for a delicious slice. The best part? A 100 per cent of the proceeds are going to charity.
