WhatsApp already encrypts conversations but to make it harder for people to access your account, just follow the two-step procedure:
Open the app and go to Settings, select Account, and then click on the Two-Step Verification.
Once users select Enable, you can then enter a six-digit pin when prompted. You'll also need to enter an email address for WhatsApp in case you forget your passcode.
To protect your Snapchat account, the TRA advised residents to open the app, and tap the Ghost icon at the top of the screen. Click on Setting, and select Login Verification.

After tapping on the Continue button, social media users will then receive a verification code by SMS.
