Dubai: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, on Thursday took to twitter to celebrate Women’s Day, which falls on March 8 of every year.

"March 8 is a very beautiful day for all women around the world. It is the Women’s Day, which is being celebrated across the world and here in the UAE. Women are builders of nations, partners in the UAE’s development progress and change-makers in societies. To them I say: “Happy Women's Day”, Shaikh Mohammad tweeted.
“70 per cent of my work team are women. I thank them for their efforts, which helped us achieve what we have today. I wish that all officials and ministers will celebrate women and their efforts. Year by year, the UAE is getting stronger and bigger with you," the Vice-President tweeted.
His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, also took to twitter to celebrate the Women’s Day.
