Dubai: A new minister was sworn into cabinet on Tuesday and a brainstorming session swiftly took place.

His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, took to Twitter to share an impromptu meeting he attended earlier in the day at his office in Emirates Towers.

During the meeting, Shaikh Mohammad said the UAE became a model for the entire region and sustaining the country’s position as an icon for development and prosperity requires hard work and innovative ideas.

“Nothing can stop our ambitions,” stated Shaikh Mohammad.

“Ideas are like trees: they need a lot of care so we can reap their fruits,” he said as he praised his team’s efforts, pointing out that: “I am proud of every one of you and every one who serve this country”.

Shaikh Mohammad discussed with his team a number of proposals and ideas in addition to local, regional and international initiatives by the Ministry of Cabinet Affairs and the Future.

Tweeting to his 9.4 million followers, Shaikh Mohammad wrote: “During a brainstorming session with my team… searching for great ideas for the country.”

On his official account, Shaikh Mohammad posted a photo of him listening to team members as he sat with Shaikh Maktoum Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, and Mohammad Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs and the Future.
