Sharjah: Sharjah Police Chief Brigadier Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi has been promoted to the rank of Major General.
The announcement came following a decree issued by President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Wednesday, according to Sharjah Police.
Al Shamsi was appointed as Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police on April 17, 2015 by Lt Gen Shaikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior.
