Abu Dhabi: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, on Wednesday received the organising committee of the Qudwa Forum.
Shaikh Mohammad and the committee discussed challenges and issues in the educational sector, and ideas and expertise aimed at resolving them. They also discussed possible ways to develop education and keep it up to date with rapid challenges brought about by technological innovation.
Shaikh Mohammad praised the constructive discussions at the Qudwa Forum. He praised the organising committee and other partners for turning the forum into a platform to support education.
“The UAE, its leadership and people believe in the noble mission of teachers and their importance in building and improving human capital and raising up conscious and enlightened generations that long to serve their country,” Shaikh Mohammad said.
“In the progress of countries, societies and people, there emerge some key factors which drive and influence everything , the first of which is education as it is the key engine for development and prosperity,” he noted.
Shaikh Mohammad highlighted the importance of forums similar to Qudwa and their role in discussing best educational practices and reviewing successful models as well as exchanging expertise.
