Abu Dhabi: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, on Monday decorated several UAE Armed Forces heroes with the Bravery Medal for their heroic actions while performing their duties in “Operation Restoring Hope” in Yemen.

At a ceremony held at Qasr Al Bahr, Shaikh Mohammad expressed his pride in the UAE heroes, the nation’s protectors, for what they have offered to their nation and people and their heroic and honourable actions, which reflect their faithfulness, sacrifices, courage, giving and dedication, which they inherited from their fathers and grandfathers.

He prayed to Allah Almighty to preserve the nation and its wise leadership for its continued victory and glory, wishing the injured a swift recovery. Shaikh Mohammad asked Allah to bestow his mercy upon the righteous martyrs and grant them a place in paradise.

Lieutenant General Hamad Mohammad Thani Al Rumaithi, Chief of Staff of the UAE Armed Forces, was also present on the occasion.
