Ras Al Khaimah: Scores of senior officials along with military and police officers joined a large number of Emirati citizens on Tuesday in performing funeral prayers on the body of martyr First Corporal Abdullah Mohammad Ahmad Al Dahmani at the Shamsa Bint Mohammad Mosque here.
First Corporal Al Dahmani was killed while carrying out his national duties as part of the Saudi-led Arab Coalition’s ‘Operation Restoring Hope’ in support of legitimacy in Yemen.
The body was laid to rest at Al Huwaylat Cemetery in Ras Al Khaimah. The worshippers and mourners prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the martyr’s soul in Paradise and grant solace to his family.
Earlier in the day, the body of martyr Al Dahmani arrived on-board a plane of the UAE Armed Forces at Al Bateen Airport in Abu Dhabi.
Upon arrival at the airport, a special military ceremony was held to receive the body of the martyr in the presence of a number of senior armed forces officers.
The General Command of the UAE Armed Forces announced on Monday the martyrdom of Al Dahmani.
