Al Ain: Al Ain Municipality signed an investment contract with Leisure Train Tourism to provide train tours for tourists in the Green Mubazzarah. The tourist train will take 12 months to be ready for operation.

The train will offer tourists and visitors a deeper insight into tourist sites at the park during the tour, providing visitors with the full story about the history of these sites with entertainment.

Once completed, the train will run 10 daily tours in the Green Mubazzarah, and tickets are valued at Dh25 for adults and Dh15 for children who are over three years. Children under three years will get a free ride. The train can accommodate 22 persons on each tour.

Badr Hamad Al Ameri, general supervisor of the Investment Office at Al Ain Municipality, said work on the project began last month, and it aims to enrich the general knowledge and information of tourists, visitors, school and university students and researchers about the history of the Green Mubazzarah and Jebel Hafeet.

He said the project aims to reinforce the UAE’s SME sector’s contribution to supporting the tourism sector and provide recreational services to visitors, as well as to provide new investment opportunities in Al Ain. It also aims to strengthen the role of the private sector in development.
