Sharjah: A toddler has been admitted to the ICU of Al Qasimi Hospital after she fell into a water bucket at her family’s home in Al Ramaqiyah area in Sharjah.
The 18-month-old Emirati girl, identified as M.A.S., fell into the water bucket that was kept under an air-conditioner in the house. It was being used to collect water dripping from the air-conditioner.
The incident was reported to Sharjah Police by the police office at the hospital.
Police said the girl was moving alone in the house without supervision. A housemaid discovered the incident at around 8pm.
The girl was taken to the hospital at around 8.45pm. She is in critical condition, according to Al Qasimi Hospital doctors.
Police urged parents to keep a close eye on their children.
