Seeing society as a whole is one thing, but learning to acknowledge its diversities and being a part of it for a higher good calls for a whole new level of understanding. To be able to recognise that though we may be different from one another but we can all, together, create great possibilities through oneness can be transformational.

UAE’s image is founded on the core belief of tolerance and coexistence. The founding father of the UAE, Shaikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan moulded the UAE into a global example of these values. The UAE’s uniqueness lies in its ability to welcome different races, religions, and cultures while being steadfast in its own identity.

UAE has already promoted its initiatives such as Hedayah (Arabic for guidance) in December 2012, the first-ever International Center of Excellence for Countering Violent Extremism (CVE), inaugurated with its headquarters in Abu Dhabi. In July 2015, the UAE and the US co-founded Sawab (Arabic for right path) to expose the voices of extremism, hatred and religious misinterpretations.

Last year, the UAE established the International Institute for Tolerance that will work to promote social and cultural harmony.

The UAE possesses the incredible ability to nourish international bonds of amity and has within its fold, more than 200 nationalities who live and work here and exemplify its belief in tolerance and peaceful co-existence.

It has shown the world how clear policies and values can bring about the integration of talent from all over the globe under one roof.
