Dubai: Nominations have opened for the Shaikha Fatima Bint Mubarak International Holy Quran Competition, the Dubai International Holy Quran Award (DIHQA) announced.

The competition, which is to be held from November 12 to 24, will receive nominations from the UAE on its website.

Contestants must not be older than 25 years, and nominees will be chosen by early September.

Ebrahim Bu Melha, adviser to the Ruler of Dubai’s cultural affairs and chairman of DIHQA’s organising committee, called on all of the competition’s committees to be prepared for for the second edition of the event.
