Sharjah: A 60-year-old Indian man, identified as J.F.R., was found hanging at his home in Al Naba’a area on Wednesday, a Sharjah Police official told Gulf News.
The official said the man had apparently committed suicide by hanging himself with a piece of cloth. “He was found hanging from the ceiling.”
The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) and forensics officials examined the scene of the apparent suicide after police reported the incident on Wednesday, the official said.
The man’s body was transferred to the forensic laboratory for an autopsy. Al Gharb Police are investigating the case.
