Abu Dhabi: Police in Abu Dhabi have arrested a group of eight Asians, including three women, for possessing 500 grams of drugs.
The group is suspected of promoting the consumption of crystal drugs among youngsters, particularly during parties, according to the Abu Dhabi Police on Sunday.
Lieutenant Taher Gharib Al Dhaheri, director of the police anti-narcotics department, said that the arrests came after police received preliminary reports about the group's racket.
Lieutenant Al Dhaheri said a police team was immdiately formed to arrest the suspects.
Abu Dhabi police arrested a group of eight Asians including three women for possessing 500 grams of drugs. These Asians were promoting the consumption of crystal drugs [which is generally used in parties] among youngsters, Abu Dhabi police said.
