Ras Al Khaimah: Police arrested 16 drug dealers from Ras Al Khaimah, Abu Dhabi and Al Ain and seized banned substances.
The suspect are of different nationalities .
Colonel Adnan Ali Al Zaabi, Director-General of the Ras Al Khaimah Police’s Anti-Narcotics Department, said authorities started investigations after receiving information about illegal activities being carried out by the suspects in Ras Al Khaimah, Abu Dhabi and Al Ain.
The drug peddlers were arrested in five days in a trap set for them in cooperation with Anti-Narcotics Department in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain.
The traffickers were arrested from five different places in five days under the operation dubbed 16* 5.
The suspects allegedly smuggled narcotics into the country. Police officers raided the place and arrested the suspects red handed when they were trying to sell drugs to under-cover officers.
