New York: A sweeping grand jury report on Tuesday found credible allegations against more than 300 predator priests and identified over 1,000 child victims in decades of child sex abuse covered up by the Catholic Church in Pennsylvania.

"We believe that the real number - of children whose records were lost, or who were afraid ever to come forward - is in the thousands," said the nearly 1,400-page report into child sex abuse in all but two of the state's dioceses.
