Here are some new launches and deals in beauty that have caught our eye this week:

Tips and Toes salon chain wants customers to chill out this summer with the help of offers every Sunday, Monday and Tuesday until August 14. Serene Sunday gets you a free 20-minute Reflexology massage with the purchase of an Anesi Expression Correction Facial treatment.

Save big bucks with Monday Magic — a significant 50 per cent off a full set of eyelash extensions, full body massage, full facial, full hair colour, hair treatments or body treatments. Two’s Day Tuesday gets you and a friend 25 per cent off services when you book together or 25 per cent off retail when you spend Dh350 and above on treatments.

Nova Clinic will help restore your skin to its best with a buy one, get one free offer on three great facials — The Intraceuticals Oxygen Facial, which is perfect for a boost this summer; the Hollywood Facial, which gets rid of dead skin cells with the help of a laser; or the Skinceuticals Facial, which is packed with antioxidants. The offer is on until the end of August.

Haven’t had a chance to go on holiday yet? Or stuck in town for the summer? It’s worth shelling out for a long spa day that involves massages, ginger tea and zoning out by the pool.

Deals at Samana Spa, Melia Desert Palm Dubai, will get you as close to a holiday as possible with its Girl’s Day Out package that includes a 60-minute deep tissue or Swedish massage, followed by afternoon tea, access to the hotel’s infinity pool and other spa facilities for Dh500. The offer is valid until December 31.

Can Fenty Beauty go even a couple of weeks without a new release? Probably not. However, the latest in Rihanna’s make-up brand is for a good cause, so we’re not complaining.

The new Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter in the shade Diamond Ball-Out (Dh168) is an eye-catching, almost-too-scary-to-wear silver shade that is high on the glitter factor. It can be worn full coverage as an ultra-shimmery eye shadow, or dusted on lightly for a face highlighter.

All the money made from the purchase of this limited-edition highlighter goes to the Clara Lionel Foundation, the singer’s non-profit organisation that was founded in 2012 in honour of her grandparents, Clara and Lionel Braithwaite. CLF funds education, health and emergency response programmes around the world. It’s probably the most guilt-free way to buy a make-up product.

Marc Jacobs Beauty know how to release a collection that will have you reaching for your credit card even before you can ask yourself “do I need more make-up?”. This summer’s Coconut Fantasy line is full of winning items that are not only beautiful to look at but are of luxury quality, work well on a majority of skintones and are easy to wear.

Our favourites from the line are the Dew Drops Coconut Gel Highlighter in Fantasy (Dh180), which is a stunning rose gold liquid highlighter that goes on flawlessly, and the Eyeshadow Palette in Fantascene (Dh225), which also features that rosy pink tone with some neutrals thrown in. This is also the only palette from Marc Jacobs Beauty that swaps out the signature piano black packaging for sleek white, which makes it kind of a collectible. If anyone needs some gifting ideas, anything from this line is sure to make a make-up lover’s day.

I don’t know what intrigued me first about Saint Laurent’s new perfume from its luxury Le Vestiaire des Parfums line; the bottle or the name. Called Blouse, this scent features the Damask rose at its centre, combined with notes of galbanum, pink peppercorn and white musk, among others.

The name brings to mind summery afternoons spent in silky, flowing tops, preferably while in some idyllic French town. The bottle is tall, clean and simply labelled — it’s such a treat to look at. The perfume notes make it a summery, feminine scent that you will want all your clothes to smell like — not just the blouses. That price tag though ... it’s a painful Dh1,145 for a bottle.
