Zendaya, 21 years old
Zendaya’s been in the game for a while now, but she’s finally being noticed and getting the attention she deserves as the big gigs roll in. Since starting out on The Disney Channel, she’s been seen in Beyonce’s revolutionary visual album Lemonade, a superhero film, Spider-Man: Homecoming, and The Greatest Showman. I think it’s safe to say you can expect more from her in new animated roles and the sequel to Spider-man: Homecoming.
Dua Lipa, 22 years old
With a modelling career at hand and an album full of hit singles, we sense a lot more coming from Dua Lipa so it’s best we stay tuned early on.
Kylie Jenner, 20 years old
Everyone has at least heard of Kylie Jenner. She’s been in the limelight for quite some time now with her thriving brand Kylie Cosmetics selling make-up products like hot cakes. But, if the rumours are true, she could be having a little one early next year — which means more drama for the new mama.
Halsey, 23 years old
Halsey has been having her moment in the press with critics dissecting her music. But now with her new boyfriend, rapper G-Eazy, she seems happier than ever; they even have a new song together titled Him & I, which they performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live and caught some attention.
Cardi B, 25 years old
This year was more than a hit for Cardi B. Her knockout single Bodak Yellow, which came out in June this year, was all the rage, and still is. Since then, she’s been featured on some hot new singles with big name artists like Nicki Minaj, Migos and G-Eazy.
Julia Michaels, 24 years old
Michaels has co-written many songs for various artists, so there’s no secret she’s got some serious musical and lyrical talent. So if you’re looking for some new music to jam to next year, it’s most likely going to be something from her.
Camila Cabello, 20 years old
Cabello started off her solo career while she was with pop girl group Fifth Harmony. Now that it’s been a little over a year after she left the group, she’s put out an album and performed at many different occasions. Her solo career is only just beginning so we expect to hear her name more in the coming years.
Shawn Mendes, 19 years old
Mendes is the new teen heartthrob and his fans just can’t get enough. There’s really not much you can’t like about him, his talented voice and strong instrument playing skills are what sell out his shows, there’s no doubting he’ll get far.
Cole & Dylan Sprouse, 25 years old
The Disney royalty child star twins are all grown up. They took a much deserved and necessary breather after their years on The Suite Life of Zack & Cody to finish school and graduate from university. And now their back for their throne. Cole now stars as the famous Jughead Jones on the TV show Riverdale, based on the beloved Archie Comics and seems to be one of the fan favourites.
Dylan on the other hand has been working on movies and has one out this year called Dismissed, and two more coming out in 2018. Their fans have grown up with them and will surely keep an eye out and be interested in their coming work.
Freddie Highmore, 25 years old
We’ve seen Highmore grow up before our eyes in movies such as Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005), August Rush (2007) and Bates Motel (2013–2017). Therefore, we’ve seen his potential at a very young age, which only means he’s gotten better since. We’re excited to see his career in Hollywood blossom.
Timothy Chalamet, 21 years old
Chalamet has wowed us with his stunning performance in the movie Call Me By Your Name alongside Armie Hammer. We’re sure his acting career will sky rocket in the near future. So here’s a helpful tip; help him out and show some support by saving up to buy those movie tickets.
