South Indian actor Prabhas and his team have landed in the UAE this weekend to film crucial scenes of his trilingual sci-fi thriller, Saaho, Gulf News tabloid! has learnt.
According to sources, the Saaho team spearheaded by the Baahubali actor and director Sujeeth will be in Abu Dhabi and Dubai for over a month and a string of spectacular shoot stunt sequences including car-chase sequences and vertigo-inducing fight scenes.
Saaho boasts of the biggest talents from the industry including National Award-winning production director Sabu Cyril and Hollywood stunt choreographer Kenny Bates of Transformers fame. Saaho, also starring Shraddha Kapoor, Neil Nitin Mukesh as its antagonist and Chunkey Pandey, will be released in languages including Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.
Prabhas, who has been training hard for his role, released the first look of Saaho on his birthday on October 23 and was received warmly with over 9 million views.
When tabloid! sought a comment about the filming to TwoFour54, the company that facilitates filming in Abu Dhabi, they declined to confirm the news.
It’s not the first time that the UAE has played host to big films. Salman Khan was recently here to shoot action scenes for Race 3.
