Ahead of the second season of Pepsi Battle of the Bands, the managers of last year’s successful music reality show on TV launched the much-awaited albums of Kashmir — The Band and Badnaam, the winner and the runner-up respectively.

At an exclusive event, which was held at Avari Towers, Karachi, the new youth icons for pop lovers in Pakistan mingled with the press, and showed up for photo ops on the blue carpet which was hosted by model-actress Rabya Chaudhry.

They also had a fun session with Anushay Shahid, before they were called on stage to perform on select songs from their albums. The three-member, Sufi rock band Badnaam went first. They performed on four tracks, two of which were new. Following their rousing performance, Kashmir took over, and how. The six boys of the trophy-winning, alternative rock band from Karachi had everyone present at the launch headbanging and swaying, as they belted out tracks from their debut album.
