A new trailer, seemingly for an upcoming film titled The Network, surfaced online over the weekend, and shows actor Rowan Atkinson zooming down a street in the UAE.
“A top secret operation. A mission across the UAE. Only one man is fit for the job,” says a voice-over. “Rowan Atkinson is Agent One.”
The actor adds, “Etisalat, you have met your match,” referring to a UAE-based telecommunications company.
Further information about The Network was not immediately available, nor did it appear on Atkinson’s IMDB page, raising questions about the nature of the trailer and whether or not it is a promotional campaign.
One such promotional campaign aired during the Super Bowl in America. An advertisement for tourism in Australia was framed as a film trailer titled Dundee, starring Chris Hemsworth, Hugh Jackman, Margot Robbie and others.
