As each weekend comes and goes, the weather gets a few degrees warmer. Soon al fresco dining will be put on hold for a good four months at least. This might be the last chance to experience a comfortable outdoor dining experience before summer kicks in.
Breeze Beach Grill
There’s something so calming about Club Vista Mare on Palm Jumeirah. Breeze Beach Grill offers a casual dining experience with exactly that, a beach breeze. Modelled after a beach shack concept, the restaurant includes a raw bar, a deli counter, and a sweet shack, and offers a range of healthy bites, seafood and grilled meats. When you’re done eating, you can play a relaxed game of pool and foosball inside.

Timings: Saturday to Wednesday from 11am to 12am, Thursday to Friday from 11am to 1am.
Verdura
Located in Ibn Battuta Mall with a fabulous terrace, Verdura is a Mediterranean fusion restaurant serving dishes inspired by sun, sea, soil and greens. The food is from all over the Mediterranean including Greece, Italy, Lebanon and Syria. Even the vibes of the restaurant are fresh, bright and laid-back, with trees and other greens planted and grown at the terrace and the smell of fresh herbs in the air. Hero dishes include black cod with za’atar pesto and baby potatoes or the delicious slow cooker short ribs.

Seafood Kitchen
The brightly lit Seafood Kitchen, located at Jebel Ali Recreation Club, is inspired by the fish markets of Asia, featuring displays of locally-caught fresh fish, shellfish, and exotic fruits. The best part about dining there is that you can choose the seafood that you want cooked, what sauce you want to add to it and the method of cooking. No one prefers a ‘build your own’ the way I do, so it was an awesome way to enjoy a meal al fresco.

Il Faro
Il Faro Trattoria and Lounge is a peaceful venue situated by the water near the Azure Residences on Palm Jumeirah. Once you step on, you are given the illusion that you’re on an island, since the venue offers 360-degree views of the Palm and of the Dubai Marina skyline. Being near the beach helps with the weather, since the air is breezier and saltier. The menu is authentically Italian and offers great appetisers, pizzas, pastas and desserts.
