Folk rocker Suzanne Vega will perform on July 5 at Dubai Opera.
The singer-songwriter will perform hits such as Luka, Tom’s Diner, Marlene On The Wall and Solitude Standing.
Vega emerged in the early 1980s on an acoustic guitar singing contemporary folk. She has sold more than seven million albums over the past three decades, and earned seven Grammy nominations along the way.
“I am so delighted the legendary Suzanne Vega has agreed to grace the Dubai Opera stage this July and I know the audiences here are in for a real treat,” said Jasper Hope, chief executive at Dubai Opera.
*Tickets will go on sale from May 16 at 4pm, starting at Dh195. A 20 per cent discount on VIP, gold and platinum seats will be available until May 30.
