Bob Marley fans in the UAE are going to be treated to a party to celebrate the 70th birthday of the reggae star.
Jamaican star Mr Vegas will be performing at the Reggae Beachfest on Saturday at XL Beach Club, Habtoor Grand Beach Resort and Spa in Dubai. The event, which will feature live performances of Bob Marley’s hits and Caribbean dishes, runs from 2pm until 3am.
Mr Vegas’ hits include Heads High, I Am Blessed and Sweet Jamaica. He also produced the all-star remix The Voices of Sweet Jamaica, featuring Shaggy, U-Roy, Barrington Levy, Marcia Griffiths, Mac Dada and more.
DJs G Money, Teddy Jam, Justin and Rizal will also take the stage, while Nayrood, Sudan’s top reggae band, will provide live music.
