According to a survey done by NetFlights.com — a flights and holidays booking website — people going through an airport spend an average of around Dh257 on food and beverages or amenities before boarding the aircraft.
On the other hand, going to an airport lounge — which already offers premium quality food and beverages, free Wi-Fi and other passenger-friendly amenities — only costs an average of Dh160 per person.
NetFlights conducted research collating data from 149 lounges across the world, and matching up costs with benefits to find the best value-for-money lounges.
This also proves that airport lounges are not just for flashy jetsetters — but for anyone who's going through an airport — even on a budget.
