Abu Dhabi: The Department of Culture and Tourism-Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) has unveiled improvements to its classification system for all hotels to boost tourism in the emirate.

According to the department, the new classification system is in direct response to consultation with hotel partners, and seeks to more proactively facilitate and empower organisational flexibility and excellence of service delivery.

“This new hotel classification system reflects DCT Abu Dhabi’s commitment to further establishing Abu Dhabi as a world-class, 21st century destination of distinction and a leading destination for sustainable tourism,” said Mohammad Al Mubarak, Chairman of DCT Abu Dhabi.

“It combines the latest systems and international best practice to provide visitors with the highest quality experience.”
