Abu Dhabi: The UAE and Angola are trying to enhance their partnerships in oil and gas, precious metals, agriculture, civil aviation, and telecommunications, among others.

The development comes as the UAE Minister of Economy, Sultan Bin Saeed Al Mansouri meets with Angolan delegates to discuss economic and trade cooperation between their countries recently.

The non-oil trade relations between the UAE and Angola rose to $1.6 billion (Dh5.88 billion) by the end of 2017, up by 38 per cent from $1.15 billion in 2016, according to a statement by the UAE’s Ministry of Economy.
