Accumulated fees for the renewal of expired commercial licences were waived yesterday (Tuesday) by His Highness Shaikh Hamad Bin Mohammad Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah.
According to Resolution No 8 of 2018, Shaikh Hamad exempted companies with expired licences from the licensing fees for previous years, up to January 2018. The resolution states that the grace period is only valid until September 1, 2018. Any companies that fail to rectify their status will not be able to benefit from this waiver.
