Expo 2020 director calls for fun, engaging content

DUBAI:

Dubai Expo 2020 Bureau Executive Director Najeeb Mohammad Al Ali urged participating nations to create fun, engaging and empowering content for the event during a speech at the General Assembly of the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE) in Paris on Wednesday.

Al Ali also reviewed progress in preparing for the six-month event, telling the twice-yearly General Assembly all major construction would be completed by October 2019, a full year before the event is due to start.

Urging the 170 participating nations to create engaging content for their national pavilions, Al Ali said, “The content you create along with other experiences is what will transform our visitors into change-makers in their own right.”
