Abu Dhabi: Abu Dhabi’s non-oil foreign trade in January 2018 amounted to Dh12.4 billion, according to the recent figures released by the Abu Dhabi Statistics Centre. Saudi Arabia ranked first in Abu Dhabi’s export destination with exports valued at Dh300 million. The figures showed that the value of exports during the first month of this year increased by 32.9 per cent, from Dh1.52 billion in January 2017 to Dh2 billion in the same month this year.

The good improvement in the UAE exports came amid rationalisation of imports, which reached Dh8.6 billion compared to Dh12.4 billion in the same period last year. The value of re-export trade reached about Dh1.733 billion.
