Abu Dhabi: Emirates will reinstate two weekly flights between Luanda and Dubai from July 1, increasing capacity to five flights per week between the two cities, the airline said on Tuesday. There are also plans to start a daily service during winter.

“Reinstating these flights and growing our service to a daily operation will benefit trade links, boost investment and will contribute to the economy by promoting business and supporting Angola’s supply chain,” said Orhan Abbas, Emirates senior vice-president of Commercial Operations for Africa.

According to the schedule announced by the airline, Flight EK793 departs from Dubai at 9.55 and arrives in Luanda at 2.40am. The return flight EK794 departs from Luanda at 6.15pm and arrives in Dubai at 5am the following day. Flight EK793, the daily service starting in winter, will depart Dubai at 10.10am, and arrive in Luanda at 3.10pm. The return flight EK794 will depart Luanda at 6.15pm and arrive in Dubai at 4.55am the following day.
